a. Diagnostic Phase:
During this phase we get a clear understanding of what client want, pain points and underlying need is which they would like to achieve. Once we’ve agreed on outcomes to be met, we then gain an understanding of the various mindsets which exist within that required framework. This is done in the form of one on one interviews, with various stakeholders and individuals from the functional areas related to the subject matter. Interviews are confidential, and the information gathered is used to create context for our scriptwriters, change specialists, facilitators and coaches. This is done in conjunction with our industrial psychologist and our change management specialist. A feedback report is provided after the diagnostic to highlight common themes and findings as well as indicate possible risks.
b. Design Phase:
The information gathered during the diagnostic will be handed over to our scriptwriting team. They consult with our industrial psychologist to ensure audience optimal psychological safety when receiving portrayed information. It is important to note that the goal is to educate, albeit that you entertain whilst doing so. Boundaries should be pushed, unmentionables and untouchables revealed, but it can only be done once a safe psychological space is created. The scriptwriters will provide a detailed concept of what the intended storyline will be. This will include a clear outline of the various characters. The concept is provided to client for feedback and input and changes will be made until client sign off is received.
c. Development Phase:
Once the concept is signed off the scriptwriters will develop it into a script. Scripting is done in conjunction with our industrial psychologist to ensure safe positive change. Once scripting is finished it is presented to client by the cast. Once sign off on script is received our industrial psychologist and OD specialists creates the facilitation model which is again provided to client for feedback and changes. Casting is done according to the demographics and preferred language of the organisation. Rehearsals are done over a period of a week and a half, with our actors and our theatre director. Before implementation we have a formal preview of the show and facilitation to all the stakeholders. This preview allows client the comfort of knowing exactly what the intervention will look like. At this point if needed any last changes can be made before going live.
d. Delivery Phase:
Delivery depends on the application and can either be a once off intervention or as part of a roll-out. The cast and facilitator will arrive 90 minutes before the session to set up and have a final run through in the venue.
e. Debrief Phase:
During our interventions we provide the audience the opportunity for written as well as verbal feedback during facilitation. This enable us to compile a report that includes both quantitative and qualitative data. The report will stipulate findings and measure the outcomes achieved.
